Fear open the 2013 Season

On Saturday April 20 ,2013 the Lake Norman Fear traveled to Greensboro to take on the Triad Bad Boys. The game was the first pre-season outing for the Fear. The Bad Boys undefeated (7-0) season was on the line. The game was very competitive and was tied 6-6 at the half. The final score was 20-6 Bad Boys, but the Fear learned some valuable lessons and opportunities for improvement for the coming season. They are still filling a few holes on their roster for a few key spots for the 2013 season.

We are currently interviewing and selecting the 2013 “FEAR GIRLZ.” These young ladies will act as Ambassadors of the team and represent us at events, promotions and home games. Lake Norman Fear are Now Proud Members of the UNFL

At the January Board meeting, the Lake Norman Fear Minor-Pro football team Board of Directors voted to join the United National Football League (UNFL). The UNFL offered the best opportunity for the Lake Norman Fear to compete at a local level on a national stage. “The UNFL is the best fit for us at this time,” said Owner Steve Taylor. Lake Norman Fear will kick-off their season in May at Joe Popp Stadium in Mooresville.

In Memory of David Sanchez Brown

Fear Family I am sad to announce the passing of one of our Team-mates and Family members. David Sanchez Brown died this morning as the results of an accident. Sanchez will be greatly missed by family, friends, and the Fear Family. We will finish out this season for him and play with heavy hearts but focused minds. We will give 120% on and off the field and we will prevail during this difficult time. R.I.P #99
